my movie script
Here is my movie script for those who want to see it:
INT. ROOM-DAY
A girl,LOVE, and guy,JERRY, are arguing.
LOVE
If that's the way you see it, I am
not going to be your girlfriend
anymore.
She yells.
JERRY
What does it matter if I go out
with another girl? LOVE angrily
leaves.
INT. BEDROOM-DAY
LOVE comes into the room. She sees her annual on the ground
she throws it across the room on to her bed. Then she
starts to sob. After awhile she goes to her bed. The book
has flung open to a picture of a boy. The camera zooms into
the picture. A flash back starts.
INT. HALLWAY-DAY
LOVE a few years younger the popular girl of the school. She
after talking with her friends heads over to JOSHUA SMITH.
LOVE
Hey Josh, I was wondering. Will you
go out with me?
JOSHUA
Love, I hope you don't take this
the wrong way or something. I can
not go out with you. I am a
Christian and it is against my
religious beliefs to go out with an
unbeliever. Also, I am not in love
with in any way and would not want
to lead you into thinking I was. I
think of you as a great friend.
LOVE leaves in a huff. JOSHUA
stares after her, concerned. LOVE
is seen the next day talking to her
friends. JOSHUA tries to join them
but they leave and ignore him.
Later LOVE is seen writing on a
locker with red spray paint then
when JOSHUA nears LOVE and her
friends run off. JOSHUA is seen
washing off the spray paint later
from his locker. JOSHUA goes to a
store and buys something it is
wrapped up. Then he goes over to
LOVE during lunch hour and gives it
to her. LOVE rolls her eyes and
later you see her dump it in the
trash unopened. JOSHUA finds it in
the trash and takes it out. A sad
look covers his face as he holds it
in his hands.
INT. LAB-DAY
RUTHERFORD is seen doing what seems to be something
with some chemicals. LOVE, and her sidekicks,CAREY and
ROSAMUND enter the room.
LOVE
Hello, Rutherford(Ruth-er ford).
RUTHERFORD
My name is Rutherford.(Sternly)
LOVE
Whatever.
ROSAMUND
LOVE!
CAREY
Yeah, I mean what does it matter? It is not like you were
named after the President or something.
ROSAMUND
GUYS!
RUTHERFORD
I was named after a President, President...
ROSAMUND
Rutherford, we came to ask you if you could do
something for us,Love?
INT.BATHROOM-DAY
JOSHUA
HMMM.....
He takes out his contacts. He puts contact solution on them
and the contacts melt and smoke rises.He remebers having
seen LOVE with a contact solution bottle.
JOSHUA
SIGH......
JOSHUA takes his glasses from his pocket and puts them on.
Everyone laughs at him as he walks down the hall with the
geeky glasses on.
CAREY
Hah! He looks like a geek. A geek with glasses.
ROSAMUND
CAREY, all geeks have glasses, it's not like a geek
with glasses is something weird.
Flashback ends. Present day.
INT. BEDROOM-DAY
LOVE
Joshua was the only guy who really
cared about me and he wasn't even
my boyfriend. I need what he had,
he was so different then everyone
else I ever met. I want to become
what he was a real Christian. He
was so nice to me even when I was
mean. Even after the time where I
publicly humiliated him he still
was very kind to me, and even
invited me over to his house. I
want to become what he was a real
true Christian. But I don't know
how. He went to a church near here
didn't he?
She goes and gets a phone book. She starts to flip through
it.
LOVE
What was it called? HMM.. Followers
of the Way church, that's right!
I'll go there. I wonder do they
have a meeting on Wednesday nights?
I'll call and see if they do. She
picks up the phone and dials a
number.
LOVE
Hello? I'm LOVE HAREL, I was
wondering if you have meetings on
Wednesday nights?....You do? What
time? 6:00?She looks at her watch.
Okay, thank you. That's all I
wanted to know..Goodbye.
INT.CHURCH-EVENING
LOVE goes to the church and sits
down at the Bible Study.
Youth Pastor
We will be looking in the book of
John today talking about when Jesus
taught Nicodemus how to be saved.
That's in John chapter 3. The
sermon goes on. Youth Pastor Even
though Nicodemus was a Pharisee and
had studied the Scripture he had no
clue how would gain this salvation.
He was studying the Scriptures but
he couldn't seem to see it. That
is how sometimes we all are, we
study God's Word but we can not
make any sense out of it. We need
to realize like Nicodemus that we
need God's help after all it was
God's Word, so he would know what
he meant. We should ask God what he
means like Nicodemus asked Jesus.
Some of us today maybe like
Nicodemus and know how to be saved.
Any of you that want to today can
by believing that Jesus died on the
cross for your sins and that God
raised Him from the the dead,and by
asking Jesus to come into your life
and be the Lord and Savoir of your
life. You can come up to the altar
and do that today.
LOVE starts to cry. She goes up to the altar becomes a
Christian.
